Why Gluten-Free PhD Exists

I’m Jeff — an educator, researcher, and parent who has spent years working at the intersection of health, systems, and real-world decision-making.

Gluten-Free PhD grew out of my family’s experience navigating celiac disease, education systems, and daily life without clear guidance or consistent support.

Gluten-Free PhD was created out of lived experience — as a parent, an educator, and someone who has spent years navigating complex health decisions in the real world.

When my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease at a young age, it quickly became clear that gluten-free living isn’t just about food. It affects daily routines, school environments, social situations, emotional well-being, and long-term health outcomes.

Much of the information available is either overly clinical, alarmist, or disconnected from what families actually face day to day. This site exists to bridge that gap.

Gluten-Free PhD focuses on clear, evidence-informed explanations of gluten-free living, practical strategies for families, and sustainable systems that reduce stress rather than add to it. The goal is not perfection — it’s clarity, consistency, and trust.

This platform reflects the same framework used throughout my broader health work: understanding the system first, then making decisions that support long-term well-being.

This site is not medical advice and not a replacement for care. It’s a practical bridge between research, lived experience, and real-world systems — built for families who need clarity, not noise.
